Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center
Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is located in the heart of Allentown at 522 W. Maple Street at Bayard Rustin Way. The driving force of the organization is to support and to celebrate the region’s LGBT community . To that end, we offer arts and culture programs; a daily youth program; community and support groups; individualized services including a free LGBT legal clinic; health promotion campaigns; an annual pride festival; and training services for other agencies. Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center serves a population that is multiracial, multigenerational, and spans a variety of LGBTQ identities. In 2019, more than 30% of people served were people of color. The youth program serves ages 14-21, while other services have served people ages 15 to 72 over the last year. The common characteristic that unites all of the individuals served is that they are looking for a sense of community among their fellow LGBT people in the region.
