The Age-Friendly Lehigh Valley Leadership Team is a mix of community leaders who volunteer their time to engage the Lehigh Valley community in the Age-Friendly Communities Program under the direction and leadership of Carmen Bell, Director of Healthy Aging for the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

Committee members work together to expand awareness of opportunities for residents to voice their opinions on age-friendly efforts. This committee actively participated in various community outreach events that contributed to the the Age-Friendly Lehigh Valley Action Plan, assisting Carmen with it’s creation. They continue assisting with the plans oversight and implementation while providing ongoing feedback.
